CONTRIBUTING to the art salon is very easy. There is no gallery event, all items and services will be hosted as products, on the salon page of this site. We encourage you to make an original piece of art work, if you can't, Pull out a good old one, or use your imagination. A contribution can be an event ticket, a subscription, a tour or service like a massage, portrait or an "ESOTERIC SERVICE" for example "Stockholm and Stockholm's luxury kidnapping service, they kidnap you in a van for six hours of obscure entertainment"  or funny stuff like an unusual signed "found object" from your house. 

You hold onto the item, if it sells, you ship it to the buyer and we reimburse you via paypal or venmo for the shipping cost. We are offering a personal percentage that you can set to cover your material costs if you really need it (please remember it is a fundraiser). Thanks so much

THE BATTLE FOR MAU MAU ISLAND has become an enduring cultural phenomenon of our city, an important symbol of how we can combat the advancements of "THE NOTHING" by reclaiming public space as a forum for shared self expression, experimentation and cathartic, visceral enjoyment. DIY boat building! Costumed gangs! and playful competition. We are holding this annual Salon, offering art and esoteric services to fund the infrastructure MAU MAU needs to become self sustaining.

This Salon represents MAU MAU and therefore all of us as members of a loose collective and the artistic integrity of our whole extended community. Lets make it great !
